“Children are likely to live up to what you believe of them.”  - Lady Bird Johnson

May is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and has more than 10- year experience of working with children. She started out in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis following her undergraduate studies in Health Sciences (Hearing and Speech) at The University of Sydney. Shortly after, she fell in love with the field. She pursued her Master’s degree in Special Education, specialized in Applied Behavior Analysis, from George Mason University and became a BCBA. Over the past years, May has been working at different settings and has provided center-based, school- based and home- based ABA services to her clients in both Sydney and Hong Kong.

May believes that all children can learn and succeed, but just not on the same day in the same way. Every child is unique and has his own learning pace. Motivation and encouragement are the keys of learning. In PACE, we believe our children can grow and blossom while enjoying lots of fun and laugh!

"Children are not things to be molded, but are people to be unfolded." - Jess Lair

Doris’ passion and determination in the field of working with children stemmed from her internship experience working in The Lovaas Institute during her undergraduate years in UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles). It is inspirational to see children making improvement and overcoming hurdles and struggles despite their special needs. Nothing brings more joy than making meaningful changes in these little ones' lives. This motivates Doris to better equip herself by pursuing her Master’s degree, working in a variety of settings (home, center, and school-based) and achieving her BCBA credential.

Dedicating herself in the field for more than 8 years, Doris feels more passionate at her work as the days go. To Doris, it is the most rewarding experience to see the confident grins on the children's faces when they cannot wait to show off their skills that they have learned, and also the genuine smiles on the parents when they are proudly looking at their little ones!
